A magical journey for multi-generation travelers.

Who did not go to sleep dreaming about fearless fairy-tale characters, setting out on magical adventures in search of true love, to rescue a princess or to slay a dragon? The stories of the Grimm Brothers, Hans Christian Andersen and Gabrielle-Suzanne Barbot de Villeneuve inspired Disney to create Sleeping Beauty, the Little Mermaid and Beauty and the Beast - just to name a few – and real locations around Europe inspired the settings for those films. Let us take you on a fairy-tale journey that visits those places and landscapes; a journey that reveals the history of Neuschwanstein and Chillon Castles, tells the stories of the charming town of Colmar, discovers the romantic Loire Valley and explores Paris, the city of lights. You don’t need a magic wand to be enchanted!

Full day excursion to the Loire Valley
$245

In need of another day filled with enchantment? Then you won’t want to miss out on this full day excursion to the Loire Valley. This is a long day, but every moment is filled with pure magic and adventure. Get an up-close look at the extravagant glamour of French aristocracy and gain insight into what life was like within the walls of two amazing Renaissance castles. Treat your senses by tasting some of the famous French Loire Valley wines and don’t forget to let your inner prince or princess loose for some amazing photo opportunities in this picturesque scenery.

When you first see Chambord Castle you may feel a sense of déjà-vu and it is quite possible that the winding staircases and intricate decors will have you feeling as though you’ve been a guest here before. Château de Chambord was the inspiration behind the Beast’s enchanted castle in the Disney animated film Beauty and the Beast. This spectacular building, commissioned in 1519 by Francis I, combines the best of French Renaissance and Medieval architecture and Leonardo Da Vinci is rumored to have been one of the artists behind this dramatic structure.

Chateau de Chenonceau sits on the shores of the river Cher magnificently reflecting its splendor in the waters of the river. The architectural beauty is not its only attraction and is complemented with great landscape surroundings, parks and some of the rarest art pieces painted by famous artists like Rubens, Van Loo, Rigaud and Nattier. Chenonceau is often referred to as the Ladies’ Chateau as many influential women took part in its development - or maybe because it’s arguably the most romantic castle in France. It is no surprise that this castles' stained-glass windows inspired Cinderella’s fairytale Castle.

Our sensory experience includes a tasty crepe lunch at a local restaurant, then use your five senses during our Loire Valley Wine tasting - see, swirl, sniff, sip, and savor - and get the most out of any glass of wine: à votre santé!

Our excursion starts at 8 AM from our Paris hotel and we return by 8 pm latest.

Included are:

  • Private luxury motor coach transportation
  • Admission and guided tour of Chambord Castle
  • Loire Valley Wine tasting (must be 18 to participate)
  • Admission and tour of Chenonceau Castle
  • Lunch
